“Last year’s sold-out gARTen fundraiser exceeded all expectations, and this year will be even more fabulous.” said Lindsay Zimmerman, the event co-chair and founder of the Canton HeART Guild, an auxiliary group of the museum.

“The gARTen event is now in its fourth year, and the HeART Guild is at the center of this extravaganza, providing the passion and creativity necessary to pull off such an epic fundraiser for the Museum!” she exclaimed. “Thank you to our amazing community sponsors and attendees who come from all over Northeast Ohio and who value the power and inspiration of art and the arts in our lives.”

This year’s gARTens of Versailles: A Royal Masquerade Ball will feature a French promenade where guests will stroll and indulge in culinary selections from the area’s finest chefs and restaurants, a champagne salon, and decadent dessert stations. Performances from the main stage will feature the Canton Symphony Orchestra and Canton Ballet, while surprise entertainment will pop up throughout the evening. Guests will be greeted by a Hall of Mirrors, fountains, dazzling lighting, and landscape designs from the event’s signature garden décor sponsor, Petitti Garden Centers. As the party heats up into the night, the nonstop dance floor will feature the DJ talents of Sparky B.

In addition to the amazing culinary journey and entertainment, this year’s gARTens of Versailles fundraiser features an exquisite selection of silent and live auction items to indulge the senses and capture the imagination. Luxury live auction items include a TRIP FOR TWO PARIS, a LOUIS VUITTON purse, JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE CONCERT EXPERIENCE, and a DOWNTOWN CANTON LUXERY EXPERIENCE. More details about the auction items will appear prior to the event at gARTens.givesmart.com, including online bidding.

Artist Chris Triner’s piece, “Canton: A Vibrant City,” was selected in a recent call for artists, and the work is being reproduced as a 12 ft x 12 ft mural on the wall of the Cultural Center for the Arts in celebration of the arts and the city.
