The Canton Symphony Orchestra presents “Opera in the Vineyard” – In Place 2018

The Canton Symphony Orchestra invites you to and evening of food, wine, opera, and auction at Opera in the Vineyard – In Place 2018 on June 24 at 4pm at the Gervasi Vineyard Pavilion. In Place, the only fundraiser for the Canton Symphony Orchestra, raises money to fund our Education and Outreach Programs that annually serve over 10,000 students for FREE.

This year, the Canton Symphony is honoring long-time supporters Bob and Donna Leibensperger as honorary chairs for the event. Bob and Donna have been an integral part of the growth of the symphony and their continued dedication is to be celebrated.

Along with the seated dinner at Gervasi, this year In Place features a small concert by two of New York’s rising opera stars Jodi Karem, soprano, and Nicholas Simpson, tenor.  These two vocalists have put together an exciting concert of famous opera duets, sure to entertain the audience with passion fit for the venue.  There will also be performances by a chamber ensemble of past and present Canton Youth Symphony members during the cocktail hour.  The evening will include both live and silent auctions.  Prizes will include unique travel packages and one-of- a- kind experiences around Canton. Reservation deadline is June 15, 2018 and tickets are $125.00 each or $150 per person for a patron ticket. Tickets include dinner and the performances, and there will be a cash bar.  Sponsorships are also available, and information for these and tickets is available by calling the Canton Symphony Orchestra box office at 330.452.2094 or online at www.cantonsymphony.org/event/place-2018-opera-vineyard/
