Museum to Present a Glass Plate Photography Demo

 

 The Massillon Museum will host a glass plate photography demonstration by artist Greg Martin  on Saturday, December 9, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. This is a members-only event; existing supporters and anyone who joins during the membership drive may attend at no charge. The annual campaign continues through the end of the year.

Individual memberships are $25; the entire family receives membership advantages for $50. Students may join for $10.  Pets can join for just $5 or $10. Memberships are available at many higher levels. Corporate members qualify for additional rewards. New members receive a Museum logo item.
 
All members are eligible for discounted rates on classes and workshops and in the Museum shop, OHregionalities. They receive invitations for MassMu members-only events. 

 

The Massillon Museum is open to the public with no admission fee from 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday and from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. on Sunday.

  • Priority will be given to events organized by or in support of local non-profit organizations. 
  • Event must take place in Stark County, Ohio.
  • Event must be arts, entertainment or culture related. 
  • Event must be open to the public. No private events.
  • Event can be free or ticketed but must include a link to a website or social media event where more information is available. 
  • Event must be submitted at least one week prior to the start date.
