MassMu to Extend Hours for “Last Saturday” | Massillon Museum

The Massillon Museum will extend its hours until 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 27, in collaboration with Massillon’s “Last Saturday” event. A visit to MassMu is always free.

Guests that evening can see Missing History of Massillon: Unheard African American Stories in the Aultman Health Foundation Gallery. Guests can explore the new “Carry On”: A Century of Swing and the Paul Brown and Massillon Tiger timeline in the Paul Brown Museum. They can see Daric Gill: The Absolutes in Studio M, Collection Snapshot: Faces of Massillon Business in the Photography Gallery, and Artist to Artist in the Fred F Silk Community Room Gallery. The Immel Circus and exhibitions in the Local History Gallery and Albert E. Hise Fine and Decorative Arts Gallery are always on view.

MassMu receives operating support from the Ohio Arts Council and ArtsinStark as well as marketing support from Visit Canton.  This project is funded in part by the National Endowment for the Arts.

Regular Museum hours are Tuesday through Saturday 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Sunday 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. The Massillon Museum is located at 121 Lincoln Way East in downtown Massillon.   • Event can be free or ticketed but must include a link to a website or social media event where more information is available. 
  • Event must be submitted at least one week prior to the start date.
