MassMu Offers Student Art and Conversation Workshop
Children in second grade and older are invited to an Art and Conversation Workshop with Ke’Aunte Harris of BeYoutiful Weirdo on Saturday, July 20, from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. The workshop will focus on building self-confidence and self-expression through fashion. It complements the Museum’s exhibition, Gilding Northeast Ohio: Fashion and Fortune 1870–1900.

Gilding Northeast Ohio: Fashion and Fortune 1870-1900, is organized by the Massillon Museum. The exhibition, guest-curated by Brian Centrone, is funded by a Major Arts Enhancements and Exhibit Grant through ArtsinStark and Visit Canton. Programming is funded in part by the National Endowment for the Arts.

 
The Massillon Museum is located at 121 Lincoln Way East (Ohio Route 172) in downtown Massillon. A visit to the Massillon Museum is always free and everyone is welcome.   • Priority will be given to events organized by or in support of local non-profit organizations. 
  • Event must take place in Stark County, Ohio.
  • Event must be arts, entertainment or culture related. 
  • Event must be open to the public. No private events.
  • Event can be free or ticketed but must include a link to a website or social media event where more information is available. 
  • Event must be submitted at least one week prior to the start date.
