MassMu Offers Story Quilt Workshops for Children
Art instructor Angelina Verginis will present Story Quilt workshops on Sunday, August 27, at the Massillon Museum. Children in kindergarten through second grade will work with the instructor from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m.; students in grades three through eight will work with the instructor from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m.
Participants will learn about mixed media collage, personal narratives, and Faith Ringgold, an American painter, writer, mixed media sculptor, and performance artist, best known for her narrative quilts.
