A Pet Member Portraits workshop will be offered at the Massillon Museum on Sunday, November 18, from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m.
The Pet Member Portrait workshop is open to a “pet parent” of a member pet in good standing. The pets are not included in the workshop; pet parents should bring photographs of the animal they wish to paint. The instructor, artist Sandi Phillips, says no painting experience is needed. All materials and instruction are provided at no charge. Register in advance, or purchase a pet membership at the door.
The annual membership drive is now underway. Two of the membership categories are for pets: $10 for an animal that will attend one of the pet-friendly events during the year or $5 for an animal that will not attend. New members in all human and pet categories are welcome at any time.
