MassMu Offers an Introduction to Embroidery Workshop
Adults and children of all ages and skill levels are invited to register for the Massillon Museum’s Introduction to Embroidery Workshop, which will be led by artist Sam Lilenfield on Sunday, August 20, from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m.
To register, visit MassMu.org/Tickets or call 330-833-4061. The fee, $18 ($15 for MassMu member) per person, includes all supplies. The instructor will walk participants through the process of completing an embroidery project from start to finish.
Lilenfeld is a fiber and illustration artist from Canton, Ohio. Her contemporary embroidery work is centered around vibrant palettes and layers of texture.
The Massillon Museum is located at 121 Lincoln Way East (Ohio Route 172) in downtown Massillon. A visit to the Massillon Museum is always free and everyone is welcome.
