Steve Korpus, a trustee of the Midwest Railway Preservation Society, will talk about railcar restoration at the Massillon Museum’s Brown Bag Lunch on Tuesday, August 28, 12:10 to 12:50 p.m.
Due to the Museum’s construction project, the event will be held at St. George Cultural Center, 364 First Street S.E. in Massillon. Enter the parking lot from South Street S.E.
The event will be free and open to everyone. No reservations are required. Brown Bag Lunch guests may bring a sack lunch or purchase lunch catered by Anderson’s in the City. Free cookies and coffee will be provided.
The program will complement the Moniker: Identity Lost and Found exhibition, which will continue in the Museum’s main gallery through October 21.
Based in a historic roundhouse in The Flats in Cleveland, the Midwest Railway Preservation Society is a volunteer organization dedicated to preserving railroad history. Korpus manages the group’s preservation operations.
