MassMu Brown Bag Lunch—David Dingwell, “Dusk to Dawn”

Photographer David Dingwell will present an illustrated talk, “Dusk to Dawn,” at the Massillon Museum’s Brown Bag Lunch on Tuesday, June 25, beginning at 12:10 p.m. The program will conclude about 12:50 p.m. to accommodate guests who attend on their lunch hours. The event is free and open to everyone.  No reservations are required.

David L. Dingwell is a partner in the Canton law firm of Plakas Mannos and serves as its general counsel. Born and raised in Colorado, he moved to Ohio after completing his undergraduate education at the University of Kansas. He attended law school at the University of Akron and began working with the Plakas Mannos law firm in 1992.

When he is not practicing law, Dingwell’s passion is photography. A resident artist with Patina Arts Centre in downtown Canton, he has exhibited and won awards for his work in local, regional, and national competitions, and several of his photographs have been published fashion magazines.

Dingwell’s photography focuses upon cityscape architecture, nightscapes, fashion, and emotive portraiture.

He recently photographed garments in the Gilding Northeast Ohio: Fashion and Fortune 1870–1900 exhibition for use in printed promotional materials, television, social media, and billboards.

Guests may bring lunch or purchase sandwiches, salad, and smoothies at Greatness Cafe in the Museum lobby. MassMu provides complimentary cookies and coffee for attendees. Galleries will be open before and after the Brown Bag Lunch.
