The popular Unplugged in Umbrella Alley returns starting June 5. ArtsinStark and the City of Louisville are partnering to bring live art and music downtown every Saturday night in June.
Come downtown from 7-9 P.M. to enjoy multiple musicians spread across Unhitched Brewery, Main Street, and in Umbrella Alley. The alley will also host a live artist demonstration and food vendors. The Ahh Gallery and Louisville- Nimishillen Historical Society will also be open for viewing.
“I am so excited about Unplugged in Umbrella Alley,” said Louisville City Council Member Joanie Aljancic. “When we first started the Unplugged events last September, there were so many people who came out to enjoy the music and the friendship of others. I saw some of my friends I hadn’t seen in years. The music and artists were amazing and I plan to be there for every Unplugged event this June!”
The entertainment series will kick-off Saturday, June 5th at 7 P.M. with street musicians Ethan Peterson and Clyde Hensley and a live demonstration from local artist Linda Alexander Radak. Plus head over to Unhitched Brewery for music from Cody Martin. June 12th will host Slick31 and Steve Farley playing under the umbrellas while painter Alaska Thompson paints live. You can catch Tim Carmany painting a glass masterpiece the following weekend while Shelby Olive and Cody Martin fill downtown with music on June 19th. We finish this exciting series on June 26th with Robin Roseberry, Lucas Schreffler, and Julian Curet playing live outside and Iris Menegay painting live.
