CSO musicians will perform before both showings!

This week, our friends at the Canton Palace Theatre will present Tár, a film set in the international world of Western classical music. It centers on Lydia Tár, who is widely considered to be one of the greatest living composer-conductors and she is known for being the first-ever female music director of a major German orchestra.

Canton Symphony Orchestra musicians will perform before the showings at 7:15pm. The showings begin at 7:30PM.

Thursday: Michael G. Koscso, cello
Friday: Eleanore Lee, cello

  • Event must be open to the public. No private events.
  • Event can be free or ticketed but must include a link to a website or social media event where more information is available. 
  • Event must be submitted at least one week prior to the start date.
