Canton Museum of Art and Cain Toyota-BMW Partner to Gift 50 CMA Family Memberships to Canton Farmers’ Market SNAP/EBT Customers

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE (Canton, Ohio): June 23, 2022  – The Canton Museum of Art (CMA), one of Northeast Ohio’s premier American art museums, and Cain Toyota-BMW have partnered to gift 50, year-long, family memberships to SNAP/EBT customers at the Canton Farmers’ Market this Summer.

Development Director Libby Doss says the Museum is “so excited to partner with Cain Toyota-BMW and work with the Canton Farmers’ Market to offer FREE Museum family memberships to SNAP/EBT card holders. Cain’s sponsorship of these memberships will help families  -who might not otherwise afford it – enjoy full membership access and benefits.”

Thanks to the generosity of Cain’s Cain in the Community program, and the partnership of the Canton Farmers’ Market, individuals who present their SNAP/EBT card at the Canton Farmers’ Market will receive a FREE Family Membership at the Canton Museum of Art ($60 value). This partnership will extend access to art in our community – thanks to Cain’s sponsorship.

According to the Canton Farmers’ Market, all vendors will accept cash, and most will take credit cards and/or a form of app pay. Customers can visit the Know Your Roots Welcome Center to learn more about how the Canton Farmers’ Market accepts SNAP/EBT (with up to $25 Produce Perks match) and WIC, TANF & Senior Nutrition Vouchers, on behalf of all eligible vendors/products.
