2019-2020 Orchestra Auditions – Canton Symphony Orchestra

Canton Symphony Orchestra announces the following vacancies beginning in the 2019-2020 season:

PRINCIPAL CLARINET,  PRINCIPAL TRUMPET, SECTION VIOLIN. SECTION VIOLA, SECTION CELLO,  SECTION BASS, SUBSTITUTE STRINGS,  WINDS AND BRASS

Auditions will be held in Canton and Cleveland.  Refer to the following for dates and locations. To schedule an audition, please contact Michael G. Sat., Sep. 14, 2019 Umstattd Performing Arts Hall  2323 17th St. NW, Canton, OH  10:00am – 1:00pm SUBSTITUTE AUDITIONS  1:30 – 5:30pm PRINCIPAL TRUMPET AUDITIONS

Sun., Sep. 15, 2019 Cleveland Institute of Music, Studio 217  11021 East Blvd., Cleveland, OH  11:20am – 6:30pm SECTION VIOLIN AUDITIONS  7:00 – 10:30pm SECTION BASS AUDITIONS

Mon., Sep. 16, 2017 Umstattd Performing Arts Hall  2323 17th St. NW, Canton, OH  9:30am – 1:00pm SECTION CELLO AUDITIONS  1:30 – 6:00pm SECTION VIOLA AUDITIONS

  • Priority will be given to events organized by or in support of local non-profit organizations. 
  • Event must take place in Stark County, Ohio.
  • Event must be arts, entertainment or culture related. 
  • Event must be open to the public. No private events.
  • Event can be free or ticketed but must include a link to a website or social media event where more information is available. 
  • Event must be submitted at least one week prior to the start date.
